If it rains, the sunflower maze at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield is closed, but a drive to see the fields of blazing color is still worth a drive. Lyman's has two mazes - a corn maze located near their Apple Barrel store and the sunflowers, higher up in the orchards on a winding road that offers drop-dead beautiful scenic vistas.
